Introducing the  Love Your Peaches  Lagenlook Corner!   This is a style of dressing that's well known in Europe, but I think it's perfect for America too!   Strictly speaking "Lagenlook" is simply German for "Layered Look", but it means a little more than simply putting on a vest over a tank top.   The Lagenlook attitude is decidely bohemian and funky...it regards clothing as being a piece of fluid art.    The pieces tend to be baggy and oversized, with lots of asymetrical or uneven lines.  Ties that can be left hanging or used to change the shape of the garment are common.  Natural fibers, especially linen, are preferred.  Most of the styles here are shown in linen, but as seasons change, I've also added in some denim and chiffon pieces as well.

There are certainly many items in my regular styles that can be employed in the Lagenlook...but I wanted to create a space to feature  these items that were actually designed to work together in the Lagenlook style.  

You may also notice the lovely texture that the linen pieces have in the photos.   These styles were created with the intention that you DO NOT IRON these pieces.   These garments must be washed and tumble dried in order for them to get the softness and drape needed for these styles.   It's all about comfort and ease.
