If you're a previous customer, you will notice that we've made some changes to the website. In a nutshell, we've made it so that you have a much wider variety of fabric options for your favorite style, which ever that may be.
The website is presently organized into 3 main sections (aside from the swimwear). First is Peaches Clothing....the regular Love Your Peaches styles, all available in at least sizes 1x - 6x. Next is Peaches Plus, a section which features our most popular Peaches styles, and gives you expanded size range 1x - 10x, and detail options.
Finally, especially for those previous customers of Plus Woman Clothing, we have the Plus Woman Classics section, which feature the same patterns from the Plus Woman company.
Fabrics are arranged into a 5 tier pricing system. One star fabrics are the least expensive fabrics, and all the listings start at the one star price level. Each additional tier rating adds $9 to the total price.
Also, we're expanding our Cut and Sew business. Particularly in the Peaches Plus Section, in each style, we'll list the yardage required, and what our cut and sew fee would be. We're a small business, and even thought we have close to 200 different fabrics in-house, we just can't inventory enough different fabrics to please everyone, all the time. This service gives you the option of really getting involved in creating a unique, custom wardrobe for yourself.
Over time we'll be tweaking things, adding styles and fabrics and options. If you have any questions or comments or concerns, please feel free to drop me a line.
Welcome to Love Your Peaches Clothing Co., where our motto is "no boundaries". I started this company in 1996 because, frankly, I couldn't find any clothes in the marketplace that spoke to me, the confident plus size woman. I hope you enjoy my fashions, all modeled by women of size. Some items are more daring, some are more conservative, but they're ALL made with love. Seriously. I know it sounds corny, but Peaches is so much more than just a company to me. It's my response to the world that told me that I was too fat, that I had to wear black, that I couldn't go sleeveless, that I couldn't wear a bikini, that I didn't look good. Well, my friends, for me those barriers are coming down, and I hope they do for you too, because it's a wonderful thing to be free.
I'm often asked what the name "Love Your Peaches" means. Those of you who are over 40 may remember this, it came from a line of an old Steve Miller song: "Really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree." Great song. More than that, however, I chose the name because it speaks to self-esteem. As women we really do need to "love our peaches". We need to smile when we think of ourselves, to believe that we are as juicy and luscious and desirable as a perfectly ripe peach. We've wasted way too much time being unhappy with our bodies. Isn't it about time we started living with joy?
I hope you enjoy the site.
